FORMATION OF THE WORK TEAMS

The planning, on the formation of the work teams, did not depend directly on us, as the groups were put together according to the teacher's criteria. Nevertheless, our team allowed us to combine the skills and knowledge of each of us in order to achieve the project's objectives. We encourage diversity and integration in our work team, so that we all have clear goals and objectives and create a pleasant atmosphere in which we all contribute ideas for the correct development of the project.

PROJECT SELECTION

When choosing the project, we have taken into consideration the available resources and the value that the project will bring us, both in the short and long term, once we have calculated the profitability, viability and the risk that we assume with the planned investments.

ORGANISATION OF TASKS IN TRELLO

To organise the tasks, we are using the online application Trello, which is one of the best applications to manage tasks in teams. It is a very complete and easy to use tool, thanks to the Kanban method.

We are going to start by using the basic Kanban board that has three columns, "pending", "in progress" and "finished". As the method is very visual and effective we will be able to keep track of everything that has been achieved. And from there we will add more columns if needed.

Using it is quite functional given that, quickly and visually, we can preview what has already been done, what parts have to be repeated or, even, to review, what tasks we have pending, etc.

PROJECT BLOG DEVELOPMENT

To develop the project Blog, we get together to decide what platform is going to be used. All together we proposed several applications such as WordPress, Blogger, Google Sites, but in the end, by majority, we opted for Wix, as we thought of it as the best option and it is an application that we knew because we has previously used it, and as a result, the members had practically mastered all the options and functions that come with it.

Given that Wix has a drag and drop system and a simple and intuitive interface, we thought it was a good idea to combine the website and the blog to have everything more organised.

CREATION OF CORPORATE IDENTITY: COMPANY NAME + LOGO

After having decided our business idea, we started thinking about a name for the company and for this we did a "brainstorming", we were sure that the name had to be recognisable, so we thought of something simple, easy to pronounce and also understood by everybody. The idea is that customers can easily recognise us.

There were various options we all liked, so we held a vote and came to the conclusion that the best option was "CONNECTED WORLD" given that it met all our requirements. The name represents a union between natural resources (water, air and sunlight) that we want to connect or relate to our daily lives. Providing energy, through these undervalued or not strongly amortised resources.

For the logo, we did something similar, but in this case we also wanted something simple, original but especially representative, that is to say, in line with the company's colours.

As we want our work to be done collectively, each member of the group had to make a logo according to the requirements. We decided that each member should choose the application that best suits them to make the designs. In the same way as the name, we took a vote and selected the one we liked the most.
